Continental Airlines Tops All U.S. Airlines For Business Class Service Across Atlantic, Pacific, Acc

Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL and CAL.A), for the third year, has been named as having the Best Transatlantic Business Class and the Best Transpacific Business Class of all U.S. airlines in Condé Nast Traveler’s Business Travel Awards. The survey, which was announced in the Business Travel supplement to the June issue of Condé Nast Traveler magazine, polled 2,000 frequent business travelers.

Continental’s BusinessFirst is one of the plushest, premium cabins intended for business travelers. The service features extra-wide electronic sleeper seats, adjustable winged headrests, multi-channel personal entertainment systems and outstanding in-flight service and amenities.

BusinessFirst is offered on 20 non-stop transatlantic routes, seven Latin America routes and six transpacific routes. In addition to offering a superior business class cabin, Condé Nast Traveler magazine also credited Continental for offering “the most value for the dollar, because it has been paying attention to the little things that business travelers want-such as larger overhead bins.”

For the past five years, Continental has won more awards for customer satisfaction than any other airline. Recently, Continental ranked No. 1 for both long and short distance flights in an independent study conducted by Frequent Flyer magazine in conjunction with J.D. Power and Associates.

Continental Airlines is the fifth largest airline in the U.S., offering more than 2,200 departures daily to 136 domestic and 87 international destinations. Operating major hubs in Newark, Houston and Cleveland, Continental (www.continental.com) serves more international cities than any other U.S. carrier, including extensive service throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.
