Air Canada flew 1,782 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in April 1999, a decrease of 2.2 per cent from 1,823 million RPMs in April 1998.
Total capacity for the month decreased by 1.5 per cent on a year-over-year basis. Total available seat miles (ASMs) for April 1999 were 2,556 million compared to 2,594 million in April 1998.
The network passenger load factor for April 1999 was 69.7 per cent, compared with 70.3 per cent in April 1998.
System cargo traffic for the month was 63 million revenue ton miles, compared with 72 million revenue ton miles in April 1998.
