Delta Re-Opens Curbside Check-In at JFK

NEW YORK,  July 2, 2002 - Delta Air Lines, Inc. (NYSE:DAL) announces the re-opening of its curbside check-in counters located at Terminal 3 at New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) to provide customers a convenient check-in option. The curbside counters are located on the departure level of the terminal for customers traveling on domestic flights.

The curbside check-in counters join a host of additional customer conveniences designed to enhance the JFK airport experience including: eight new dedicated BusinessElite? check-in counters designed to offer improved service; a new Delta Express check-in area located at the Terminal 3 entrance, where an additional BusinessElite check-in counter is located; and the presence of BusinessElite agents who are specially trained to assist international travelers.
In addition to the curbside check-in, Delta customers with domestic e-tickets also can use the self-service kiosks located adjacent to Delta’s economy and BusinessElite? check-in counters to check-in, check bags, get boarding cards, select seats, and request to stand by for upgrades. Prior to arriving at the airport, customers are encouraged to check airport wait times, sign up for personal flight notifications and consider other virtual check-in options, such as checking in and printing boarding cards, on delta.com.
