British Airways’ New Year sale starts today (December 28, 2001) with thousands of discounted flight tickets to 75 destinations world wide and savings of up to £160. The sale includes summer flights to the US and Europe.

Prices start from just £74 for a return ticket to Amsterdam or Paris, £199 to
New York, £249 to Los Angeles and £499 to Hong Kong.

The World Offer tickets are on sale from Friday 28 December until
28 January 2002 and are valid for travel for differing time periods from 8 January.

For the chance to get away to the sun, the airline has reduced fares to hot spots across the globe. Fares to Barbados are from £409 (saving £116), Antigua and
St Lucia from £429 (saving £96), Dubai from £359 (saving £97) and the Seychelles from £499 (saving £84).

Further afield Perth is on offer from £588 (saving up to £52); Melbourne from £668 (saving up to £54) and Sydney from £682 (saving £54).

Shopaholics can start the new year with bargain flights to New York for £199 (saving £83), Boston from £219 (saving £63) or Chicago for £253 (saving £73).
