bmi and the Effect of Industrial Action

Due to the planned European air traffic control strike on Wednesday 19 June 2002 and a general strike called in Spain the following day Thursday 20 June 2002, bmi has cancelled some of its flights.


The industrial action will cause disruptions and bmi will do all it can to ensure delays are kept to a minimum and that the least amount of inconvenience is caused to its passengers.


CANCELLED FLIGHTS WEDNESDAY 19 JUNE: All flights from London Heathrow to Paris Charles de Gaulle (six return flights) and Nice (2 return flights)


All flights from East Midlands Airport to Paris Charles de Gaulle (three return flights)


All flights from Leeds Bradford to Paris Charles de Gaulle (three return flights)

It is possible that there may be some additional impact on flights which overfly French airspace, possibly affecting services to and from Italy and Spain.
