Due to the new organizational structure for SAS’s Group Management that was presented on May 14 this year, the following areas of responsibility will apply as of July 1, 2002.

Until October 31, 2002, J¿rgen Lindegaard, SAS’s President and Chief Executive Officer, will be responsible for SAS Airline where he is appointed COO (Chief Operating Officer). Recruitment of a manager for the Airline Support & Related Business business area is under way. Until further notice, J¿rgen Lindegaard will be responsible for this business area.

Gunnar Reitan will have Group Management responsibility for Subsidiary Airlines & Hotels. Recruitment of a Chief Financial Officer is under way. Until further notice, Gunnar Reitan will be responsible for this position.

Bernhard Rikardsen will assume Group Management responsibility for Corporate Administration & Support.

The following managers have been appointed for Staff units within the Group: Hans Ollongren will be responsible for Corporate Communications & External Relations. Lars Lindgren will be responsible for Airline Executive Coordination.
