ATA Kids & Seniors Sale Begins Today

INDIANAPOLIS—(BUSINESS WIRE)—June 2, 2002—ATA (American Trans Air, Inc.) (Nasdaq:AMTR) today announced a “Kids & Seniors Sale” featuring fares to and from Indianapolis for as low as $39(a) for kids and $59(a) for seniors. These special fares are only available until midnight E.S.T. on Monday, June 10, 2002, for travel through August 31, 2002(a) (travel from Indianapolis to Los Angeles for non-stop service only, beginning June 20, 2002). All fares are each way based on a round-trip purchase.

These special senior fares are for passengers ages 62 and older, and the kids` fares are for passengers ages 2 through 12. These special fares allow seniors to bring one companion on the same flight at the same low, senior sale fare, but not in combination with the kids` fare. One kid`s fare is permitted with each fare-paying adult.

Fares quoted are each way based on a round-trip purchase. All non-stop kids fares are $39, and all non-stop seniors fares are $59.
