easyJet passengers travelling between Thursday and Saturday this week (30 May - 1 June) should check in earlier due to strike action planned by Belfast International Airport security staff.

The 72-hour stoppage is due to start at midnight on Wednesday and end at midnight on Saturday.

easyJet flights are especially busy due to the Jubilee Bank holiday, and in anticipation of longer queues at security we are advising passengers to check in at least 1.5 hours before their flight departure.

The airport has guaranteed to provide normal levels of security throughout the stoppage through the drafting in of replacement experienced security staff.
