The airline, founded in 1985, has already won more than 200 awards and has just received Travel Insideå‘s silver Travel Star award for scheduled airlines - again.
The result was based on a survey of some 600 Swiss travel agents, and this year Emirates scored extra points over the previous year for `outstanding` customer service.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates` Manager Switzerland and Austria, accepted the award on behalf of the airline, which has served Switzerland for the past 10 years.
He said: “Gaining a silver from the country’s top travel professionals two years in a row reflects the esteem our business partners have for the quality of our service in a very demanding market.”
Emirates scored particularly highly in two areas, customer care and customer service, and tripled its score for agents` awareness of its fast-developing worldwide route network via Dubai.
The Travel Stars, Switzerland`s only recognised tourism awards, are based on a questionnaire sent to all travel and ticketing agents. This year some 600 responded.
