The St. Thomas-St. John and the St. Croix Hotel & Tourism Associations are sponsoring their annual Travel Agent Month this August. Travel agents who visit St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas during the month of August will receive: three nights of complimentary accommodations at select hotels; discounted airfare with American Airlines, United Airlines and US Airways; and special savings at select USVI attractions, retail stores and activities.

“This annual month-long event affords travel agents the perfect opportunity to visit the U.S. Virgin Islands and get a sample of all that our islands have to offer,” Commissioner of Tourism Pamela C. Richards said. “It`s wonderful to see how our hotels, tour operators, retail stores and attractions work together to make this a successful event each year.”

Participating hotels include: on St. Croix - The Buccaneer Hotel, Carambola Beach Resort, Hotel Caravelle, Carrington`s Inn St. Croix, Divi Carina Bay Resort, Frederiksted Hotel, Hibiscus Beach Hotel, Hotel on the Cay, Inn at Pelican Heights, InnParadise, King Christian Hotel, Sand Castle on the Beach, Sugar Beach Condominiums, Tamarind Reef Hotel, Villa Margarita and The Waves at Cane Bay; on St. John - Gallows Point Resort and The Westin St. John Resort; and on St. Thomas - Best Western Carib Beach Resort, Best Western Emerald Beach Resort, Bolongo Bay Beach Club, Holiday Inn Windward Passage Hotel (one booking per agent, two bookings per agency), Marriott Frenchman`s Reef Beach Resort, Renaissance Grand Beach Resort, Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina, Secret Harbour Beach Resort and Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa (all-inclusive property, $75 charge for complimentary nights).

Businesses participating in this promotion on St. Croix include: A Boardwalk In Restaurant, Big Beards` Adventure Tours and gift shop, Centipede, Mile Mark Water Sports, Olympic Rent a Car, Sonya Jewelry, St. Croix Safari Tours, and Violette Boutique.
