Amadeus has begun displaying Peru’s Aero Continente flights in around 236,000 Amadeus terminals worldwide.

All of the approximately 56,000 travel agency locations and more than 8,500 sales offices of over a hundred airlines that use the Amadeus system in 200 markets worldwide can now easily and efficiently process Aero Continente reservations and receive an immediate confirmation on their screens.

Milagros Zevallos, Marketing Director at Aero Continente, announced that the Peruvian airline is delighted to have optimised its level of global distribution through a GDS with such broad reach and technological capability as that of Amadeus. Currently Amadeus displays all of Aero Continente’s international flights, as well as seven frequencies to five domestic destinations. Mrs. Zevallos confirmed that shortly all of Aero Continente’s itineraries will be available through the Amadeus system, as well as enhanced facilities, such as automatic record return and the ability to select and reserve seats in advance. Once Aero Continente joins the BSP in the respective markets, Amadeus affiliated travel agencies will enjoy the exclusive privilege of automated ticketing for this carrier.
