iHotelier, a division of Webvertising, Inc., has appointed Ms. Melanie Spangler of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts to head up their GDS Services Department. Ms. Spangler will officially join the iHotelier team as Director of GDS Services on January 3, 2002.

Ms. Spangler has almost eight years of GDS experience with her last three deeply involved with the GDS operations of the Wyndham Database Group for Caribbean Resorts. iHotelier has provided GDS connectivity to its clients since April of this year. With her extensive experience and fine tuned insight, Ms. Spangler will provide a new perspective to iHotelier’s GDS services. Her duties will oversee GDS operations, marketing & development.

iHotelier has steadily grown from a solutions provider to a representation company over the past two years and services some of the most renowned hotel properties in the U.S. and Latin America. The addition of Ms. Spangler is further evidence of their intended growth and client focus.
