Spacifically, the Conference & Exposition for Spa, Resort & Hotel Executives, will take place October 6-8, 2002 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

“Our research shows that Atlanta is just about as hot a spa market as there is,” said Karen Crawford, vice president and show director of the national business event, now in its third successful year. “There are literally thousands of spas located in and around Atlanta, or just a few hours away and they are experiencing a surge in growth. We have a mandate from attendees and suppliers alike to go to a market with this kind of vitality and promise.

“Spacifically 2001, which opened in September at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, experienced a 50 percent increase in exhibit space over the previous year, and more than 1,100 spa executives registered for the event, with more than 84% holding management titles,” Crawford continued.
