Sabre Holdings Corporation (NYSE: TSG), the IT leader for travel and transportation, today announced a strategic alliance with eSoft(TM) Inc. (Nasdaq: ESFT), the company that provides a flexible and customizable product suite of Internet connectivity solutions for small- to medium-sized enterprise markets, to provide one of the first end-to-end corporate travel solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses. The utilization of a corporate travel policy combined with lower transaction fees and negotiated rates can significantly reduce a company’s travel expenses.
As part of the agreement, Sabre BTS(SM), the leading corporate travel management system, will be integrated into eSoft’s redphish(TM) offerings and Internet-based connectivity solutions. The integrated offering leverages the extensive knowledge of Sabre in corporate travel and broadens the reach of the Sabre BTS system, resulting in a total travel management solution for small- to medium-sized businesses that encompasses best-of-breed technology.
The system will allow corporate travelers to create air, car and hotel reservations quickly and efficiently. By utilizing the new Sabre BTS ‘eAgency’ model that re-engineers the entire travel process, corporations with a high percentage of trips booked online will experience substantial savings.
