Frankfurt-based i:FAO has acquired the intellectual property rights for XTRA On-Line`s PowerTrip, a corporate on-line travel management solution.
The deal also includes the acquisition of the entire PowerTrip operations centre in Dallas, Texas. Using this centre and its experienced staff, i:FAO will seamlessly take over customer support for all the existing PowerTrip customers, effective 1st July. By agreement between the parties the terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
i:FAO`s chief executive officer, Louis Arnitz, applauded the landmark agreement, which propels i:FAO to the top of the industry in the U.S.: “Our number one priority is now taking care of PowerTrip customers, and we have therefore added a team of XOL development and support experts to our staff in North America,” Arnitz said. “In addition, we will be offering PowerTrip customers the option of a fully assisted migration to the technology of cytric, i:FAO`s next generation corporate eProcurement system,” he said.
In addition i:FAO will be opening a new cytric operations centre in Scottsdale, Arizona to support its growing North American customer base for cytric.
