Atlantis, The Palm and Virgin launch travel networking site

Iconic Dubai resort Atlantis, The Palm has joined forces with Virgin Atlantic to launch, a brand new social media channel aimed at engaging and inspiring people with a passion for travel.
Conceived by Virgin Atlantic, showcases travel destinations in a fresh way through reviews and eye-catching photography. Featuring guides on destination resorts such as Atlantis, The Palm, as well as hundreds of cities, beaches, ski resorts and national parks, the website is designed to inspire people to travel to new destinations as well as making the planning and sharing of travel easier.As a key launch partner of, Atlantis, The Palm has a strong presence on the site and also has its own Trip Pod, a special tool to store and organise travel ideas and dreams. Users can collaborate and share Trip Pods with friends and family to create the ultimate itinerary.

As a key innovation, the new website shows travellers the relevance, by percentage, of other site users.  This gives them a sense of how like-minded the other site users that they engage with are, meaning that shows them more relevant recommendations.


Users of the new social media channel can bookmark and store travel ideas, view stunning destination photography, search and explore with Google Maps, and find the top events happening in their destination of choice.
