The Coco Reef Resort - Tobago, which was voted “Caribbean’s Leading Hotel” at the 2008 World Travel Awards, has just become even better following a major renovation of its spa facility.
Included in the $500,000 renovated and upgraded Coco Spa is a wide selection of state-of-the-art Cybex exercise equipment. These feature both an Aerobic Exercise Room and an area featuring the very latest in strength machines. Cybex, long regarded as the “Rolls Royce” of spa equipment, sent expert technicians to Tobago to oversee the installation of the new equipment.

The new spa has already been highly acclaimed by the many repeat guests staying at the Resort. Mr. Brian Hadley, a seven time visitor to the resort, said: “Every year Coco Reef provides new amenities for its guests. The new exercise equipment is truly a fabulous upgrade to the Resort’s facilities.”

General Manager Eric Feniet said: “Our repeat guests who make up over 47% of the Resort’s clientele expect and deserve to see that we continually upgrade and invest in the property’s facilities. The newly opened Spa is a further indication of our commitment to this endeavour”.

John Jefferis, J.P.,  the owner of Coco Reef Resorts Ltd, said “Even during these less than buoyant times we will continue with our company’s policy to make the necessary capital investments in order to meet the continually increasing expectations of our most cherished customers. In Bermuda we are currently constructing a 4,000 square feet Fine Art Gallery which will open on 1 May 2009. The development, which is estimated to cost in excess of six million dollars, will add a new and unique amenity to our Bermuda Resort.”

Jefferis added “In today’s increasingly competitive tourism market those hotel properties that do not make significant investment and innovation in their facilities and services will not be sustainable.”

The Coco Spa offers a new Spa Menu which includes: Signature treatments such as Lessons in Love Massage, Morning Glory, Black Mud Body Wrap, facial therapies, body treatments, massage therapies and a variety of Salon services.
