American Airlines June figures show its domestic market has slowed since last year, particularly for its subsidary American Eagle, but that the international market remains flat.

The US carrier reported a June load factor of 85.5%, a decline of 1.7 points versus the same period last year. Traffic decreased 3.1% and capacity decreased 1.2% year on year.
Domestic traffic decreased 4.7% year over year on 2.8% less capacity. International traffic decreased by 0.1% relative to last year on a capacity increase of 1.6%.
American boarded 8.4 million passengers in June.
Its subsidary American Eagle reported a June load factor of 75.1% - down 5.2 points compared to the same period last year. Traffic decreased 8.6% year on year as capacity decreased 2.3%.
