Eastern Airways has been ranked as the UK’s most punctual airline. 
In total 89.1% of its flights left within 15 minutes of their scheduled time during the period of January to March 2008. The information was obtained from online aviation analysts Flightontime.info, using data from the Civil Aviation Authority.bmibaby followed closely, and was ranked the UK’s most punctual low cost airline with 84.5% leaving within 15 minutes, ahead of low cost carriers including Ryanair (79.5), Flybe (81.1%), and easyjet (76.2%). British Airways was way off the pace in 33rd with 56.3%, along with Virgin Atlantic (55.7%) and Emirates (38.3%).
