Etihad appoints new Premium Lounge manager

Etihad Airways has appointed Suzanne Alipourian as the airline’s new premium lounge and special services manager at Abu Dhabi airport.Ms Alipourian has responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the airline’s new first and business class lounges which offer customers two distinct and luxurious environments to dine and relax in before they fly.

She is also responsible for managing a new team of premium check-in and concierge staff. Furthermore Ms Alipourian will manage Etihad’s new premium lounges at Abu Dhabi airport’s Terminal 3 which is scheduled to open later in 2008.

Geert Boven, Etihad Airways’ executive vice president sales and services, said, “Etihad Airways is committed to providing our premium customers with a service to suit their every need whether in the air or on the ground and the appointment of a dedicated premium lounge and special services manager is another step towards achieving that goal.”

Ms Alipourian recently joined Etihad from Scandinavian Airlines where she spent nine years working in a number of roles including the position of airport manager in Chicago. She has also worked for Air France and Turkish Airlines.
