Anvil unveils new risk system

The Anvil Group has introduced its new Travel Risk Intelligence System at the Business Travel Show held at Earls Court in London.Utilising leading edge technology to provide organisations with up-to-date country and city based security and risk intelligence. TRIS V2 includes information of interest to responsible employers such as terrorism, civil war, crime, political instability, health scares and even adverse weather conditions.

First launched at last year’s show, TRIS has become the de-facto choice for travel managers and security personnel to keep employees out of harms way. The Anvil Group has introduced a number of new features within TRIS V2 which now works 90% quicker than ever before. TRIS V2 automatically links global threats and incidents monitored by The Anvil Group’s analysts to travel itineraries, to ensure duty of care obligations are met. New features included within TRIS V2 include:

Global Incident Mapping: By utilising digital mapping, The Anvil Group’s TRIS V2 is now able to dynamically display exact locations of incidents and threats, enabling organisations to form a systematic response to arising catastrophes and safeguard all assets. The global incident map allows organisations to zoom in on a location of a threat and alert any employees that are in the vicinity of the threat.

SMS Alerting:  Through utilising SMS as a communications method, TRIS V2 enables risk managers and travelling employees to receive timely, relative and informed risk alerts, regardless of the location. The SMS facility can also be used as a line of constant communication with any employees facing potentially hazardous situations. The messages are also delivered via email and messages to PDAs.

City Briefings: Due diligence of specific travel locations is imperative to organisations. Through TRIS V2 each organisation is now able to view risk updates on specific cities, improving the ability to provide the most relevant information to the business traveller.

Proximity Awareness Alerts: Proximity Alerts enable organisations to determine a distance radius around all of its assets and receive updates if any incidents occur within it. The feature enables organisations to receive only incident reporting for a specific geographic location, providing a thorough risk assessment tool in order to protect all physical assets.

Reports Wizard: By utilising the multiple data sources within TRIS, the Reports Wizard will enable organisations to compile concise PDF reports of travel locations, further enhancing travellers knowledge of their destination, risks, culture and customs.

“With the Corporate Manslaughter Act transforming the way travel managers and security managers treat business travel, it is important that businesses are equipped with the tools to respond to global threats in order to safeguard travelling assets,” says The Anvil Group Director, Matthew Judge. “TRIS V2 is ideal for corporations who want to make informed decisions about their travel plans and demonstrate first class duty of care to its employees.”

Individually tailored to suit each corporation’s needs, including the ability to be ‘skinned’ to fit into any organisation’s look and feel, TRIS V2 is updated and monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week. TRIS V2 provides organisations, travel managers and security personnel with up-to-date and in-depth information for every country around the world on incidents that could hinder the safety and well being of travellers.
