Mandana Levaux has been appointed Worldwide Communications Director for Sofitel Luxury Hotels.She will take on the charge of implementing the brand’s communication strategy and reinforcing the group’s new luxury positioning.

After beginning her career in luxury cosmetics and advertising, Levaux joined Sephora, the cosmetics retail subsidiary of the LVMH Mo‘t Hennessy Louis Vuitton Group, in 1996, where she held a range of positions in operations and communications, as well as marketing. She rose successively from Store Manager and Category Manager to become European Communications Manager. Over the past few years, she actively contributed to Sephora’s repositioning through involvement in media, advertising, PR and events.

 

Levaux has dual French and American training, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from The American University and the Institut Supérieur de Gestion (ISG).
