Virgin Atlantic has been awarded with the ‘Fastest Airport Check In’ accolade at the exclusive Wallpaper Awards. 

This accolade follows the opening of Virgin Atlantic’s new Upper Class Wing at London Heathrow in November 2007, which enables business class passengers to whizz from their limos, through a dedicated security channel and into the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse in a matter of minutes.

Steve Ridgway, Chief Executive of Virgin Atlantic said:

“We are thrilled that our brand new Upper Class Wing at Heathrow has been named as the world’s fastest airport check in by Wallpaper.  Since the Upper Class Wing opened in November, our Upper Class passengers have been bowled over by how quickly they can get through to our Clubhouse from arriving at the airport - so far we believe the record to be about 3 minutes!
