EasyJet expands to Canary Islands

easyJet plans to expand its operation in Continental Europe with the introduction of new services from mainland Spain and Switzerland to the Canary Islands.  These four new routes will bring the total number of routes from its Spanish base in Madrid to 24 and from its largest base in Switzerland - Geneva to 34, this autumn.

easyJet operates from a total of 17 bases, 10 in the UK and seven in Continental Europe, re-enforcing the airlines’ position as a truly pan-European company, with 36% of easyJet’s network operating outside the UK. 

The new routes are:
