New website showcases Nevada

Nevada Magazine launched its new Web site, unveiling more of the stories found in the print edition than ever before, plus complete listings of Nevada events and shows, Publisher Deb Dudley announced today.

The redesigned site, www.nevadamagazine.com, rolled out this month with the results of the 30th annual Great Nevada Picture Hunt, featured in the September/October print edition. Readers can look deep into Nevada through photographers’ lenses by logging onto the Web site and clicking on “More Nevada.” The “Web Extras” section gives readers special Web-only content.

“The new Web site is intended to better mesh with the print publication, which we redesigned earlier this year,” Dudley said. “The site offers a sophisticated, yet simple style that gives our magazine an inviting online presence.”

Nevada Magazine, published for more than 70 years, introduced its new look with the March-April issue and now features the state’s hottest trends and unique living environments in addition to the feature stories that have long made Nevada Magazine a favorite for residents and visitors alike.

The Web site is divided into the same sections as the print version, including City Limits and Wide Open, which explore urban and rural destinations within the state. Cravings covers all things craveable, with an emphasis on food and drink. Fashion, entertaining and homes and gardens are featured in The Look and Living sections. Notable Nevadan profiles movers and shakers in a Q&A format, and Events & Shows shines a spotlight on the hottest events and entertainment taking place around the state.
