Spirit adds Aruba offering

Spirit Airlines has announced daily nonstop services between its Fort Lauderdale base and Aruba, beginning November 2007.Service will be via Queen Beatrix International Airport.

Aruba is Spirit’s 23rd destination in the Bahamas, Caribbean and Latin America region, and its 38th destination overall.

In addition to nonstop service from its Fort Lauderdale base, Spirit also will offer connecting service to Aruba from its domestic network. Spirit serves all routes with its fleet of Airbus aircraft, the youngest in the Americas.

“We’re looking forward to taking travelers to enjoy Aruba’s beautiful beaches, wide variety of activities, and rich culture,” said Mark Kopczak, Spirit Airlines’ Senior Director of Network Planning. “Spirit Airlines is Fort Lauderdale’s hometown carrier and we are very pleased to offer our low fares, new planes, and friendly service between South Florida and Aruba.”
