Carlson Hotels Worldwide has
announced that in the first six months of 2007, the company has added 40
new hotels to its global portfolio, including five new properties in June.The latest additions in June included a Park Inn(R) in Mannheim, Germany; a
Country Inns & Suites By Carlson in Fredericksburg, Va.; one Radisson
SAS property in MIJAS, Spain; and two Radisson Hotels & Resorts
properties in Vitoria City, Brazil; and Nashua, N.H.
  “We are pleased with the continued progress in growing all of our hotel
brands,” said John Sturgess, corporate vice president of development for
Carlson Hotels Worldwide. “In the first six months of 2007, we added 40
hotels in 13 countries and signed another 44 new deals year-to-date
expanding our development pipeline ahead of expectations,” added Sturgess.
“This steady growth pace will continue to broaden hotel choices at our
brands for travelers around the world.”
