Skyscanner launches Chinese website

With worldwide coverage now extending to all seven continents, www.skyscanner.net is furthering its global expansion with the launch of a Chinese language version of its website.
Together with the new Turkish and Romanian language sites, the addition of Chinese is the latest of 18 different language sites to be developed over the last 12 months.  Over 1.2 billion Chinese speaking users will now have access to the fastest flight search online which displays price and availability information for 165 airlines and 69 countries worldwide.

Gareth Williams, CEO and one of the founders of SkyScanner says, “We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new language sites, especially our move into the Chinese market.  Having expanded and widened our reach throughout Europe last year, 2007 will see SkyScanner become available in more and more languages worldwide.  We currently have a presence in all seven continents and are fully committed to further global expansion in 2008, both with new language versions of the site and with a whole host of new low cost flight routes.”
