EmQuest, the rebranded travel services
provider of the Emirates Group, has welcomed three new customers at ATM.HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive
Emirates Airline and Group, signed contracts with BCD Travel, Al Rais
Travel and AIG Travel on the EmQuest stand at the Arabian Travel
Market 2007 held in Dubai.

Representing the customer companies were Mr. Jassim Al Rais, Director Al
Rais Travel, Mr. Abdul Rahman Taher, Managing Director, Al Rais Travel;
Mr. Khalid Abdul Wahed Hassan Al Rostamani, Managing Director, BCD Travel,
and Charles Bouloux, President of AIG MEMSA along with Jeff Rutledge,
President AIG Travel.

 

EmQuest’s prime goal is to leverage technology through partnerships to
provide customers with convenience, flexibility and innovation. The
company aims to provide products that ease the travel booking process,
simultaneously offering a vast array of services for the customer.

 

The agreements signed today form the basis for EmQuest to expand its reach
in the market, and broaden its product offering for customers across the
U.A.E. Al Rais Travel, not entirely a new customer; Al Rais is one of the
top five customers for EmQuest and has reaffirmed its business commitment
to continue to use the Galileo Reservation System. BCD Travel, a global
conglomerate and a new entrant in the local travel market, provides travel
related services through Galileo products
supplied by EmQuest.

 

Travel Insurance is fast becoming a mandatory requirement for the
traveller. By partnering with AIG, EmQuest will be able to offer its
customers a wider choice of insurance options. AIG MEMSA is the largest
provider of travel insurance in the region and a member of the American
International Group, Inc. (AIG), world leaders in insurance and
financial services.
