Airline Network is the latest car hire broker to be featured on the price comparator website Carrentals.co.uk, taking the total number of car rental sites compared to 43.

Carrentals.co.uk made the switch to become a price comparator in February this year and since then has seen a three-fold increase in bookings and a growing number of rental companies featured on the site.

Airline Network offers car hire in North America, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Europe through leading rental providers such as Dollar, Europcar and Budget.  It joins car hire providers including Holiday Autos, E-Bookers, Opodo, Alamo, Thrifty, and EasyCar on the comparison site, in a move that will further strengthen the Carrentals.co.uk offering around the World.

Carrentals marketing director Gareth Robinson commented: “In the three months since we switched to a comparison site we’ve seen a strong increase in bookings, and continued to expand the number of car hire providers we offer, with Airline Network the latest to be featured.  This success is a direct result of the quick, fair comparison service the site offers, providing the widest choice of low-cost car rental prices for business and leisure.”

Visitors to the Carrentals site can compare the best deals in over 4,000 locations around the World searching by car type, with search results shown in price order, together with details of the company providing it.  They can then go straight to the supplier’s site, which retains the rental location and dates, and read more about the hire options and conditions before booking. 

Since its launch in 2003 Carrentals.co.uk has grown to become one of the leading online car hire websites.  In 2006 it booked its 100,000th customer and turnover reached £8million.
