Air France launches UK website

Air France has launched a website specifically for the UK. The site has a dynamic look and feel and is now easier to navigate. The site has been designed using Monet, a concept specific to Air France and the UK website is the first foreign market after the US to adopt this new and improved look and feel.

The Air France flight booking engine now appears to the left of the screen and a new ‘manage your reservation’ tool has been introduced. This allows passengers to update their advanced passenger travel information (required when travelling to the USA) and to change details on their bookings. It is currently only available for passengers holding flexible tickets however will be extended to all passengers in the near future.

The other significant change is that, in response to web trends, the navigation bar now sits horizontally across the top of the screen and fewer click throughs are required to access information on travelling with Air France, such as on board information and online schedules.

Air France has always promoted its best fares via the website however now there will be even more deals to choose from to destinations such as New York, Tokyo and Delhi. Visitors continue to have the opportunity to sign up for regular e-updates of special offers and seasonal promotions and to use the online check in facility. In addition, frequent flyers with Air France now benefit from direct access to their Flying Blue account via the log in box on the home page.Online games with chance to win tickets on Air France will also continue to be promoted via the home page.
