Traffic.com launches wireless website

Traffic.com has launched a wireless Web site, available at
http://mobi.traffic.com, specifically developed with on-the-go drivers in
mind. Through any handheld wireless device, 120 million drivers in 50
metropolitan areas can access Traffic.com’s industry leading, free,
real-time traffic information when and where they need it.

Traffic.com’s WAP site is specifically designed to display traffic
content for easy navigation on mobile phones and devices. It features
accurate, up-to-the-minute traffic information including travel times,
vehicle speeds, delay times, and accident reports. Users can access basic
city-wide traffic information or their own personalized reports. To receive
personalized information, users can register at http://www.traffic.com and
then create and save their daily commutes or weekend travel routes through
the MyTrafficTM suite of free services.

Traffic.com’s MyTraffic offerings include customized traffic reports
and alerts delivered via phone call, e-mail, and text message. Users can
save up to 20 regularly traveled routes and schedule up-to-the-minute
traffic reports for those drives when, where and how they want.

“Traffic now joins the most requested information services on the
wireless Web such as news, weather and sports,” said Robert N. Verratti,
chief executive officer, Traffic.com. “The Traffic.com wireless Web site
joins the ranks of other dominant WAP publishers like The Weather Channel,
CNN, and ESPN.”

With the addition of this new mobile delivery option, Traffic.com
continues to deliver the multi-platform, in-the-moment consumer messaging
power advertisers want and need. Mobile WAP advertising placements offer
yet another powerful Traffic.com branding opportunity for advertisers.
Brand sponsorships, with one-click direct-connect capabilities, allow
advertisers to sponsor real-time traffic updates for consumers in 50
metropolitan areas across the U.S.
