TAM, received the “2006 Trusted Brands Prize” (“Premio Marcas de Confiança 2006”) in the airline category, granted by Reader’s Digest magazine and conducted by Ibope Solution. This is the fifth edition of the prize, whose objective is to choose products, services, institutions, professions and personalities that inspire the most confidence in the consumer. This is the second consecutive year that TAM has received this prize.
According to the research organizers, a trusted brand is one that presents a high quality product or service through a solid, consistent image, corresponding to customers’ expectations of a fair price. Also, a company considered to be a “Trusted Brand” demonstrates a permanent capacity for innovation, differentiation and respect for the consumer.
