Next year the Business Travel Show will take place during new dates and at a new venue, as well as being on target to pull in around 200 exhibitors.
Business Travel 2007 - the event for people who buy or book company travel, business trips and meetings - will take place between February 13th and 15th (two weeks later than normal) at Earls Court 2 - just around the corner from its old stomping ground at Olympia.
“We decided to move to Earls Court 2 because we outgrew Olympia after six years of increasingly successful shows there. As well as providing us with more floor space and the potential for future growth, the layout at Earls Court means we can have a single level exhibition floor, which we believe makes it easier for visitors to get around the show,” explained David Chapple, Business Travel Show event director. He added: “The new dates were chosen simply to give our exhibitors a little extra time to get organised after the Christmas break.”
The Business Travel Show is also announcing enhanced partnerships with ACTE, (Association of Corporate Travel Executives), ITM (Institute of Travel Management) and MPI (Meetings Professionals International). Each association is using its industry expertise to create a series of conference session for travel & meeting budget holders to sit alongside the show’s ever-popular existing more practical programme for small and mid-sized businesses. The association led sessions will focus on critical issues facing the business travel industry today, such as the debate surrounding corporate social responsibility.
The Business Travel Show Party is another first for 2007. Taking place on February 13th at the Science Museum, the party is the official networking event for exhibitors and VIP visitors. Entry will be free to anyone carrying a valid Business Travel Show 2007 pass. To register, please visit www.businesstravelshow.com.
