Radius in security drive

RADIUS is signing a new partnership with Anvil’s “Crisis Avoidance Service” who will provide security advice and a wide range of employee travel monitoring services. The Anvil Group is one of the leading providers of crisis avoidance, intelligence and security services to corporations and their subsidiary companies globally and RADIUS is one of the largest travel management networks in the world with 90 shareholder travel management companies operating 4,900 branch locations in 80 countries to produce a $19.7 billion USD in sales turnover.

RADIUS travel companies will have access to preferred pricing for the Anvil Group’s employee travel monitoring system which is to be private labeled as RADIUS Safe & Secure. The system has been developed to assist security managers and travel departments to monitor traveling employees globally and in real-time by consolidating information into one central resource that is globally accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, making available all relevant information to the operator in case of an emergency. RADIUS Safe & Secure has been designed to certify on interrogation that the company has shown a duty of care to the safety and well being of individuals traveling on company business and will also allow RADIUS to provide clients with solutions for travel policy enforcement, crisis management, communicate risks to employees and consolidated management information. The system is compliant with all six Global Distribution Systems.

Keith Haynes, RADIUS senior vice president for multinational corporate sales offered: “Corporate travel will always be an essential component of connecting different operations and interests around the globe regardless of world events, so it is imperative that we have the ability to keep track of key individuals, executives and VIP’s and react immediately to developing situations and threats. Of course, the added benefit of RADIUS Safe & Secure is the intelligence source monitoring that includes embassy and government notifications, health warnings, country threat assessments, weather conditions and breaking news and new service reports.”

Matthew Judge, technical director for Anvil stated:  “We are very pleased to be working with RADIUS. Anvil was one of several companies that RADIUS researched as a potential partner for traveller tracking and crisis management services, and our selection is testament to our superior service offering and technology.”
