Taiwan’s airports to go private

21st Aug 2006

Taiwan’s Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) is planning to allow private companies to operate commercial airports in an effort to help the government balance its books. Under the current civil aviation law, only government agencies or local governments are allowed to run airports.
