Lufthansa boosts Lebanon capacity

During the summer rush period; Lufthansa has enhanced its summer flight schedule. Lufthansa currently serves Frankfurt with a convenient 7 flights per week including 2 afternoon departures from Beirut. During this period Lufthansa will serve Beirut mainly with its wide body Airbus AB6 with a seat capacity of 270.

Mr. Sarkis Amoghlian, Manager Passenger Sales, Lufthansa German Airlines, in Lebanon said, ‘Flying to Lebanon seems to be a popular destination again this summer.

The passenger numbers to and from Rafik Hariri International Airport on Lufthansa have increased over 50 %.

To serve the Lebanese market even stronger Lufthansa has increased its capacities this summer and this will create a positive impact among our passengers.

This improvement is to meet our customer’s demands from Lufthansa to offer more convenient, efficient and faster connections between Lebanon and Germany, Europe, North America, Far East & South Atlantic.

This year, Lufthansa will also celebrate its 50 years anniversary in Lebanon and therefore there is much anticipation and excitement to look forward too.’

Beirut - Frankfurt: Lufthansa flies from Beirut to Frankfurt every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, morning departures 03.25 and arrival 06.35 and every afternoon on Tuesday and Friday at 15.05 and arrival at 18.05.

Frankfurt - Beirut: Lufthansa flies from Frankfurt to Beirut every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, night departures 21.00 and arrival 01.45+ and every Tuesday and Friday, morning departures 09.20 and arrival 14.05.
