Marriott Vacation Club set to open St. Kitts

Marriott Vacation Club International is planning the development of its first resort on St. Kitts. Slated for occupancy in January 2007, Marriott’s St. Kitts Beach Club will be located on-property with the AAA Four Diamond - St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino, and is proposed to include 88, two- and three-bedroom villas (at build out). Initial pricing ranges from $16,400 to $69,500 per week, depending on season and floor plan selected.

“St. Kitts is a tremendous addition to our growing Caribbean portfolio of resorts. Our owners have made it clear that they enjoy vacationing in this destination, so we are pleased to deliver yet another oceanfront island experience to our nearly 312,000 owners,” said Stephen P. Weisz, president of Marriott Vacation Club International.

In eight, three-story Garden Houses, the spacious villas will range in size from 1,400-2,089 square feet and feature a fully-equipped kitchen with GE stainless steel appliances, tile floors and granite counters; generous living and dining areas; washer/dryer; multiple Sony flat-panel televisions; Sony DVD players; and Wi-Fi internet accessibility.

Numerous amenities and concierge services will be offered through the St. Kitts Marriott Resort such as access to the resort’s fitness center and use of the sauna, steam room and whirlpools at the Emerald Mist Spa.
