US Airways heads back to Flathead Valley

US Airways will once again be flying to Flathead Valley, increasing the availability of seats on the popular summer route between Phoenix and Kalispell, Mont.US Airways begins regional jet service with the 50-seat Canadair Regional Jets (CRJ200) operated by US Airways Express carrier Mesa Airlines. Beginning July 7, the route will get a bigger airplane—the 124-seat Airbus A319 (12 seats in first class and 112 in coach) for the remainder of the summer travel season. On August 20, service on the 50-seat CRJ200 aircraft will resume.

“Our flights to Kalispell give customers access to the great outdoors and the beautiful landscapes of Glacier National Park,” said Andrew Nocella, senior vice president, scheduling, planning and alliances. “This destination is particularly popular during the summer travel months, and US Airways has once again responded to the demand for our great service by making more seats available to customers.”
