AirAsia fliers get airport tax refund

AirAsia passengers who booked their tickets before March 23 can claim a RM10 (US$2.73) refund from the airport tax they paid when making the booking. Transport Minister Chan Kong Choy said this was because airport tax imposed on international flight passangers using the Low-Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) was only RM35, RM10 cheaper than the standard RM45 airport tax charged by the other airports in the country for international flights.
