The Yemeni Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology and its Qatari counterpart have intention to develop their cooperation on air transport.Vice chairman of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology Mohammad Abdul-Qader and the Qatari vice chairman of the General Authority for Civil Aviation Ibrahim al-Janahi inked on Wednesday in Doha an understanding memo of cooperation between the two authorities stating that Qatar Airways is to launch three direct flights from Doha to Aden weekly.

The two officials held a number of negotiations over aspects of collaboration in the field of air transportation and ways to activate the articles of the agreement which was inked between the two authorities in 2001 so that it copes with the new agreement of the same field.
