International business travellers are flocking to Australia, with arrivals jumping by nine percent last year.The country’s booming economy and stable travel environment has attracted traffic.

Recent Tourism Research Australia figures from its international visitor survey show that 771,000 business travellers arrived in Australia in 2005, compared to 705,000 the previous year.

Business travellers also spent longer in the country in 2005 spending 9.5 million nights here compared to 6.9 million in 2004.
