Choice Hotels Europe is appointmenting Richard Bantock as the new head of leisure sales. Richard took up his position at the beginning of February at CHE’s head office in Edgware, where he is now based. As head of leisure sales, Richard heads up a team to deliver increased revenue from this sector into the group’s hotels.

Spanning an impressive career, Richard worked for Queens Moat Houses UK Ltd, for 17 years in various senior roles. For the last nine months, Richard worked as head of area accounts and specialist sales, where he managed a team of eight corporate area account managers to deliver the annual target, ensuring the UK sales division achieved its business plan. Prior to that, Richard worked for nine years as group travel trade sales and e-commerce manager.

Richard lives in Coventry and is known for his set of green fingers. His garden is a Yellow Book entrant which lists gardens, county by county, that are open for the National Gardens Scheme.
