Divi’s Aruba resort doubles in size

Divi Resorts is to develop its Phoenix Beach Resort in Aruba. This will more than double the
size of the resort, adding 140 suites to the existing 101 units.The
new studios,
one-bedroom suites, and two- and three-bedroom penthouses will be housed
in four
eight-story buildings and will feature fully equipped kitchens with
convection
oven, gas stovetop, microwave, and full-size refrigerators.  Additional amenities
will include king-sized
beds and queen-sized sleeper sofas, 32” or 42” plasma televisions, a washer
dryer combination and well-appointed baths with Jacuzzi tubs.

Once
complete, the
expanded Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort will be the premier mixed-use resort
on Palm Beach in Aruba.  The Divi Aruba Phoenix
Beach Resort offers
both nightly stays for traditional vacationers, as well as deluxe suites for
the Divi Vacation ownership program.  Resort
facilities will include two tennis courts, a new free-form pool with swim-up
bar, waterslide, large Jacuzzi, a new open-air grill restaurant, beachside
water sports center, and fitness center with state-of-the art
equipment. 

The
project will
be built in a single phase construction process with completion scheduled for
December 2007.
