Orbitz is introducing a new condensed car booking path to enable travelers who book a rental car on Orbitz and CheapTickets to complete the transaction three steps.    1.  The customer enters initial search criteria on the homepage; Car
      results are displayed in the Car Matrix, which discloses total
      pricing, including all taxes and fees.

  2.  The customer reviews car options and chooses the car rate they want,
      then clicks to advance to the “Review and Purchase” page.

  3.  The customer reviews the car rental purchase details, enters renter
      contact and purchase information, and clicks the “confirm reservation”
      button to finalize the purchase, all on one page.

A significant new feature in the Orbitz and CheapTickets car booking paths
is the debut of automatic registration, eliminating the need for unregistered
travelers to leave the booking path to become a registered user.  Orbitz’ new
car booking path gives travelers the ability to automatically register as part
of the booking process without being directed to a separate screen.

“Orbitz continues to improve online rental car booking, first with our
total pricing car matrix display, and now with automatic registration as part
of a simple three-step booking process,” said Sam Fulton, vice president of
transportation for Orbitz.  “With the new car booking path, travelers are no
longer forced to wade through several pages of information to get to the final
confirmation page.”
