Gulf make crucial UK appointment

Gulf Air has appointed Tracey Randell as new UK Sales and Marketing Manager. In her new role, Tracey Randell will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities for Gulf Air in the UK.
Tracey Randell joins Gulf Air from Viacom, where she managed a £10 million European travel spend budget. She has many years of experience in the travel industry, working for Qantas, Mark Allan, Ian Schrager Hotels and TBA, from where she was head-hunted by Viacom to take on the role of Travel Manager. Randell also has vast experience in the entertainment business through her work with BMG Records, American Express and TBA.

Ê“I am delighted to be joining such an exciting and dynamic organisation as Gulf Air and look forward to this new challenge. I hope to contribute to the continuing success of the airline and raise its profile in the UK market,” said Randell.

“We are delighted to have Tracey join the team. Her extensive and diverse experience in the travel industry will be invaluable to Gulf Air as we continue to grow our business and introduce innovative customer services,” said Clive Wratten, UK General Manager for Gulf Air.

Tracey Randell, who took up her new position on 31 October 2005, replaces Clive Wratten who was recently promoted to UK General Manager.
