Thompson Hotels Upgrades Web Offering

7th Oct 2005

Thompson Hotels will utilise Pegasus’s newly launched Web Services by Open Hospitality. The deal will deploy Open’s web technology for the 60 Thompson property in New York, the Sagamore in Miami and the Hollywood Roosevelt in Los Angeles.

Under the offering, the hotels will continue to use the Pegasus Utell platform to manage their web rates but due to a recently announced partnership and successful technology integration, Thompson will now have the added benefit of Open Hospitality’s customizable web services, most notably a front end booking engine that is consistent with the overall web re-branding that is currently underway for the portfolio.

“Thompson Hotels has taken advantage of Utell’s new bundled services provided by Open Hospitality and has, in effect, gained an entire web marketing department at no additional cost and without having to retain this type of staff on site” says David Millili, Open’s CEO and co-founder. “This group is the ideal example of how this new partnership is geared to operate. Open and Pegasus assume the majority of the workload on behalf of the property, exactly what hotels should expect from their technology service providers”.
