After completing a multi-million dollar renovation, Great Bay Beach Resort & Casino was the recent host to several leading tour operators and travel partners at the St. Maarten/St. Martin Annual Regional Tradeshow (SMART) on May 12, 2005. More than 200 key industry players turned out for the opening cocktail party, which showcased the $10 million renovation of St. Maarten’s landmark resort.

The property now invites travel agents to experience the new resort by extending travel agent FAM rates of just $90 per room, per night, based on the resort’s EP Plan. Rates are based on double occupancy and are subject to 21% tax and surcharge. Rates are valid for travel through October 31, 2005.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the property re-opened its doors on February 12, 2005 featuring a sophisticated, contemporary look in its lobby, 262 stylishly appointed guest rooms and suites, an elegant new signature lobby and lounge, sleek infinity pool and two restaurants and more planned.

“Travel agents are the key to our success,” said General Manager Renato Moretto.

“We had a wonderful showcase at SMART and we’ve had excellent feedback from our tour operator partners. Our doors are open to travel agents and we invite them to visit and experience the all-new Great Bay Beach Resort & Casino.”
