12th Apr 2005

HVS/American Hospitality Management
is pleased to announce the grand-opening of the full service
Ramada Albert Lea in southern Minnesota. The property previously operated
as the Inn of Albert Lea. The Ramada Albert Lea has undergone a complete renovation of its
guestrooms, meeting space and is adding the Big Island Grill Restaurant
which will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. To let everyone know
this is truly a new hotel with upgraded services, the exterior has also
been redone. The Ramada Albert Lea is the largest hotel in the area and
serves the needs of business and leisure travelers.

The hotel general manager is Sheryl Sloss and Karen Anderson serves as the
manager of the Big Island Grill, which provides a fine casual dining
experience for groups, hotel guests, special events, and area residents

Kevin Sawatsky, Executive Vice President Business Development for HVS/
American Hospitality Management Company, notes, “We’re excited about the
opening of the Ramada Albert Lea. As the only full service hotel in the
area, it will provide quality hotel, restaurant, and meeting experiences
for our guests and the property will be a fantastic location for the
community to hold its events right in Albert Lea, instead of having to
leave town for a suitable location.”
