United offer extended Chicago Mo’Bay service

United Airlines has extended service from Chicago to Montego Bay, offering travellers the chance to experience Jamaica during the summer period. Launched December 18, 2004 and originally scheduled to operate only through the winter season, this route has been extended through September 3, 2005.
Scheduled for Saturdays, this is United Airlines’ first nonstop service available from Chicago, its major hub, into Jamaica.  Excellent connections to feeder cities in the U.S. add further convenience.

The outbound United Airlines flight departs Chicago on Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. and arrives in Montego Bay at 12:37 p.m.  Returning from Jamaica, the flight departs on Saturdays at 1:35 p.m. and arrives in Chicago at 5:58 p.m.

“We are extremely excited United Airlines, the second largest carrier in the world, has seen the demand for its first ever nonstop service out of Chicago to Montego Bay, and has extended the schedule through the summer vacation period,” commented Paul Pennicook, Director of Tourism for Jamaica.

“This is an excellent time to visit Jamaica, whether as a family, honeymooners or adventurers, our island offers experiences for everyone.  We welcome the influx of visitors the extended service
will bring to our country, including Jamaicans returning home.”
